Uses: It is a cephalosporin veterinary clinical antibiotic, broad-spectrum antibacterial drug. It has strong antibacterial effect on both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Ceftiofur acts on transcriptional peptidase and blocks the synthesis of mucopeptides, so that the bacterial cell wall is missing and the bactericidal effect is achieved. Ceftiofur has a stable β-lactam ring, which is not easy to be destroyed by drug-resistant bacteria, and can act on β-lactamase-producing Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
