Application
Sodium diacetate is a multifunctional edible chemical. It is mainly used as preservative, antimicrobial agent, chelating agent, flavoring agent, PH adjusting agent, preservative of meat products in food and feed industry, and is also the main ingredient of composite antimicrobial agent. This product can be mixed with other flavoring agents and sweeteners. It can be used as acidulant of food products, and also can be used as mold inhibitor and food quality improver. Widely used in food, feed, grain and silage mold additives (mainly mold preservation, improve nutritional value). It is also used as acidifier, homogenizer, buffer, polyvalent chelating agent, antirust agent and anti-mold agent for bread in printing and dyeing industry.
