Properties: As a COX-2 inhibitor, etocoxib can reduce the risk of gastrointestinal peptic ulcer, perforation and bleeding compared with traditional non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), and it has no sulfa group, so it is safer for patients with sulfa allergy.
Application
It is applied to the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, chronic low back pain, acute gouty arthritis, primary dysmenorrhea, postoperative pain and other diseases.
