Application
For the treatment of acute uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections caused by sensitive bacteria (eg, acute cystitis, acute exacerbation of chronic cystitis, acute urethral bladder syndrome, nonspecific urethritis, asymptomatic bacteriuria during pregnancy, postoperative urinary Urinary tract infection) and prevention of urinary tract infection during surgery and infection caused by transurethral diagnostic procedures.
For patients with moderately reduced renal function (creatinine clearance Ccr <80ml/min), including the elderly with physiologically reduced renal function, the half-life of fosfomycin tromethamine is slightly prolonged, but this product is in the urine. Appropriate therapeutic concentrations remain.
