Properties: Sucralfate is a sucrose sulfate compound containing aluminum hydroxide, which can be dissociated into negatively charged sucrose octasulfate under acidic conditions, and can be polymerized into a colloid to directly form a film on the ulcer surface or inflammation to protect the ulcer or inflammatory mucosa, to resist the attack of stomach acid.
Application
1. Treatment of lichen planus Using sucralfate to treat patients with lichen planus can make the skin lesions disappear or be significantly reduced, and the cure rate is 57%.
2. To treat chronic urticaria, this drug can excite adenylyl cyclase on mast cell membrane through prostate E, increase intracellular cAMP, inhibit the release of histamine and allergic slow-response substances, and interfere with the action of histamine; Cyproheptadine antagonizes histamine receptors. Combination of the two drugs is more effective.
3. Treatment of esophageal ulcer Sucralfate is used to treat patients with esophageal ulcer. Generally, the bleeding can be stopped within 24 hours, and the ulcer will heal within 2 to 4 weeks.
4. Treatment of chronic ulcerative colitis Some people use sucralfate to treat patients with chronic ulcerative colitis, and the curative effect is remarkable. After 1 to 3 courses of treatment, the cure rate is 81%.
5. Treatment of esophagitis Some people use sucralfate to treat patients with esophagitis, and the cure rate is 77%.
6.
